USER AGREEMENT AND TERMS OF USE

In this agreement, "you" or "your" refers to any person using this website and this translation service, the "user". "We" or "our" refers to Startfrench.com. The translation service is referred to as "this service" in this agreement.

We reserve the right to stop this service or modify the conditions of use of this service and this user agreement at any time. We also reserve the right to remove all or part of the contents you submitted as well as the contents displayed on our pages or saved in our database at any time.

You acknowledge that any sentence submitted through this service will not necessarily be subsequently translated and displayed on our pages. Therefore the simple fact of submitting a sentence through this service does not offer you any guarantee of any sort that a translation will effectively be provided and that the submitted sentence and its translation will be displayed on our pages.

Should your sentence not be translated and not be displayed on our pages, you accept that we will not issue you or anyone else any notice of any sort and will not give you or anyone else any reasons or explanations in any circumstance to why your submitted sentence was not processed, not translated and not displayed on our pages.

Technical problems preventing the proper use of this service may occur. If any such problem occurs, you accept that you may not be able to use this website or this service and that your submission may be faulty and may be dismissed. You accept that we will not issue any warning or notice regarding the failure of your submission.

We cannot guarantee that our translations are totally exempt from any mistakes, omissions or inaccuracies. Therefore we will not be held responsible for any damage that may result from the occurrence of such mistakes, omissions or inaccuracies.

Sentences successfully translated will normally be displayed on the French Translation pages within one week of the sentence being submitted. However, that period of one week can be freely extended to any length of time we feel necessary or comfortable with and we reserve the right not to translate and not to display any submitted sentence as stated above.

You shall not submit contents that are slanderous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening or harassing in nature.
You shall abide by all applicable federal, state or local laws, including those pertaining to such areas as libel, trade libel, product disparagement, invasion of privacy, tort and copyright or trademark infringement.

You are responsible for the contents you submit through this service and for any damage that this contents, its meaning and its translation may cause to other users of this website. You acknowledge that the owner of this website and any of the people working on the developement and maintenance of this website and anyone involved in peforming the translations for this service will not be held responsible and not liable for any damage of which a user-submitted contents is the source.

We use cookies in order to regulate the daily number of submissions allowed per user. Cookies are text files stored on the user's computer. The cookies generated by this service do not contain any sensitive information and are only used to make sure all users can benefit from the translation service in a fair and equal way. Only one submission of one sentence including no more than 90 charachters is allowed per day per user.
